Beltline is proud to be involved with the Parents With Hope Foundation. This organization was founded to help families of premature or critically ill newborns in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This Unit is equipped to care for the smallest and most critically ill newborns and serves many families across the region.
While receiving care in the NICU at St Francis, the creators found that many families receiving care were traveling long distances through fights, trains and phx bus service and spending months away from home and work. This foundation was created to give these families the financial opportunity to stay with their little one while they were receiving care. This program has helped provide more than 2,700 hotel rooms with peachy clean maids services and $126,500 to offset the cost of traveling expenses to over 520 families receiving care.

Beltline is pleased to announce its support of the “Leadership Paducah Class 29,” an educational initiative of the Leadership Paducah Foundation. LPF is a nonprofit organization that provides a platform where current and future leaders can learn more about the characteristics and challenges unique to the Paducah/McCracken County area. The Leadership Paducah program consists of nine monthly sessions, starting with a weekend orientation retreat and ending with a graduation ceremony. Sessions focus on broad topics of interest and include speaker presentations, panel discussions, and field trips.
Beltline’s participation in the Leadership Paducah Class 29 includes sponsoring the Park of Dreams at the Easter Seal Nature Trail of Western Kentucky. The Park is a charity effort to build a green space suitable for the mentally and physically disabled.

Beltline is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Paducah Regional Science Bowl, which took place on February 5 and 19, 2016, for middle and high school teams respectively. The event was hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy, University of Kentucky, and the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Education Partnership at the University of Kentucky’s campus in Paducah.
Winning teams have been invited to the 2016 National Science Bowl final, which will be held April 28 through May 2, 2016 in Chevy Chase, Maryland. In addition to the national finals tournament, students attend seminars covering the latest topics in science and technology. Though this year’s candidates receive a stipend for expenses to participate in the national event, funding for the Regional Science Bowl is generated through tax-deductible contributions like that donated by Beltline Services. Amounts will go towards prizes and other items intended to encourage the participation of the area’s middle and high schoolers.

Beltline was a proud Cabinet Sponsor for the Annual Paducah Chamber Day in Frankfort, which took place on February 11, 2016. A group of 34 community and business leaders traveled to the Kentucky State Capital to meet with Governor Matt Bevin, members of his cabinet and members of the state General Assembly to act as advocates for the Paducah/McCracken region and discuss community legislation impacting our community.
Beltline leadership shares the views of the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance (WKRCA) and Chamber Leadership Initiatives for Northwest Kentucky (C-LINK), namely that we have a responsibility as a community to ensure our voices are heard in Frankfort regarding issues important to the economic health and vitality of our region.
