BELTLINE Announces Expansion to Oak Ridge, Tennessee

BELTLINE has been providing safe, quality and reliable electrical construction services throughout the southeastern United States for over 60 years. Today, the company is pleased to announce the expansion of operations into east Tennessee by adding an additional office location in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

The east Tennessee division provides construction services for all phases of electrical work, access controls, CCTV/CATV, fire alarm to the Department of Energy and its commercial nuclear partners, Department of Defense, government prime contractors, power generation customers, manufacturing owners, and municipalities. BELTLINE is proud to bring their highly skilled and talented workforce, their zero-incident safety culture and their passion for serving customers to the east Tennessee market.

This spring and early summer Beltline has been recognized by 3 different organizations for safety achievements. The Association of Union Contractors (TAUC) presented us with the 2016 Thomas J. Reynolds Certificate of Achievement for achieving a DART rate of 25% below the national average. Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Western Kentucky awarded us for having 250,000+ work hours without a lost time accident in 2016. The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) presented us with a recognition of achievement in safety excellence in 2017. 10 Year Partnership with Domtar

As of January 1, 2017, Beltline has been providing supplementary electrical maintenance services to Domtar Paper Company in Hawesville, Kentucky for ten years. Roger Daniels, Geary Jennings, Joe Bickwermert, Jacob Brown, Adam Millay and Jeremy Boswell of the Owensboro Division were recognized for ten years of dedicated service to Beltline Electric and our work at the Domtar facility in Hawesville. Tim Hess, Operations Manager of Beltline’s Owensboro Division, stated, “This successful partnership would not be possible without the unwavering commitment of Domtar personnel and Beltline employees. We are truly honored to be working with a partner that is as committed to safety and quality as Domtar.”

Congratulations to Tony Stevens, Foreman Owensboro Division, for receiving the Safety Employee of the Month and John Johnson, Foreman Owensboro Division, for receiving Quality Control Employee of the Month from Turner Construction Company. They received these awards from Turner while working on the Owensboro Health Madisonville Medical Office Building project.
