60 YEARS & GOING STRONG
CELEBRATING 60 YEARS IN BUSINESS
1957
Beltline Electric was founded in 1957. George Lankton and Willie Rudd opened their first location on the Beltline in Paducah, KY.
1958
Seven months later the partners had already outgrown their space and moved the operation to south third street.
1961
Beltline became a signatory contractor with IBEW Local 816 in Paducah, KY.
Albert Marshall was hired as the first Service Electrician.
1990
Acquired by Terry W. Gipson & Lyn W. Smith.
2007
Beltline celebrates 50 years of serving our community.
2008
Launch of Owensboro Division.
2009
Ice Storm – Beltline runs 24/7 crews to restore power to our community.
2010
Acquired by Jason W. Siener.
2017
Moved to larger facility and expanded our prefabrication operation.
2018
Launch of East TN Division.
2021
Beltline is Acquired by The State Group.
2023
Launch of Amarillo Division.
